Preservation of your privacy is important to SAMMS and we are committed to letting you know how we use your personal information and to making only responsible use of your data.

Whenever you see the words "we", "our" or "us" it means St Albans Musical Museum Society.

We will collect personal information from you when you register as a member or enquire about our activities.  This may include your name, contact details, subscription or donation details and any Gift Aid declaration.

Your personal information will only be used to process your requests, to provide you with our services and to provide you with information which we think you may be interested in.  We will not share your data with any third party organisation.

We will take reasonable care to prevent loss, misuse or alteration of information you give us.

Our website may contain links to other websites of interest.  However, once you have used these to leave our site, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting other such sites, which are not governed by this privacy statement.

Whilst we endeavour to keep our systems and communications protected against viruses and other harmful effects we cannot bear responsibility for all communications being virus free.

If you would like us to correct or update any information, or if you would like information deleted from our records, then please inform us.  When making these requests we may need to ask you to identify yourself to ensure the personal data you are contacting us about belongs to you.
